Work Summary

Position: Game Designer

  • Helped design the Abyssal Palace outpost, a submersible defensive base which could help safeguard player resources while they were offline.

  • Designed the Tempest Stronghold outpost, which housed a pair of twin dragons with different combat specialties. Sending one of these dragons alongside the Tempest Cabal troops would grant the troops powerful bonuses, making them a troop whose stats could be altered to fit the player’s needs.

  • Designed the Crimson Citadel map tiles, special raid locations that encouraged cooperative PvE play in a predominantly competitive PvP game. This release proved to be an extremely popular piece of evergreen content that acted as both a necessary ‘economic sink’ as well a new way to enjoy the game.

  • Rebalanced the Spectral Ruins outpost, a change that was extremely divisive at release. However, through community outreach it was accepted as a good and necessary change.

  • Took over the responsibility of all writing in the game, including marketing copy.
